Women's Fiction Blog: Myths, Dense Observations and Lies We Are Told
Women’s fiction. Contemporary women’s fiction and divorce fiction. Friendship fiction. Women of a certain age fiction. Mature women’s fiction. My favorite reading are novels for women by women that surround women’s issues. I even wrote a few books for women’s fiction.
The Women’s Fiction Blog is my other place to write. This is an essayland of myths, old wives tales, the lies we have been told about success and weight control, among other topics, and the dense observations of myself or others. Some empty-nesting pet stories. Granddaughter stories. Short stories.
Women’s Fiction Blog is a long life essay on life as a woman. Written by a woman who is almost done with beating around the bush.
Some of my favorite moments in life are when I am laughing as I write. Especially when the amazing muse wakes me with the essay perfected for paper. Especially when the essay I write is on a topic that had me spitting flames the day before. At the moment, Hate My New Progressive Lenses, Green Potato Fight, Look Ma! A Hawk Feeder, Damage Control, A Tollbooth Needs a Tollbooth Person Indiana, I’m Fifty-three So Don’t Mess With Me . . . these fondly come to mind. I love Oh my god! Hunks! which is about my granddaughter. I love Mama is taking her sweet time today…. a story about my pets with bad attitudes.
There are so many stories that were therapeutic, since I am an impatient type. Due to my relationship with this lovely computer, I at times, border on the newly defined Type-H personality, meaning Type-Hostile. But that is manageable with a shotgun, though not until my funeral.
I believe comments are open on every post, so feel free to talk back.
Please, visit my other blogs, one for the contemporary women’s fiction books, one for menopause, one called Skunk Medicine for living with exotic pets, Newfoundland dogs and ancient cats, one for driving green.
If you are a writer, please connect so we can guest post, that will be fun.
I set up my life to write for the rest of my days. Enjoy my bliss.
